Old Ironsides. A gunned up Constitution. A gift of the Reverend Dr. Norman Lawrence Kellett.

Navy War Frigate. Has auxiliary steam engine. Note bow chaser, ands swivel guns.

The Horace. A Kennebunk merchant ship which suffered a mutiny and was moored and sank at Mother's Beach. In a very low tide, you can touch the petrified bones that stick out of the sand beside Lord's Point. Note the elaborate riggings. A piece of the ship is archived at the Brick Store Museum in Kennebunk. Given in loving memory of Abraham Feldman.

Booth Chick's Lobster Boat. Yes, as in Chick's Marina. Given by Mr. and Mrs. Ralph K. Smith of Sewickly, PA. In loving memory of Jay Smith.

The Sadie Nunan. Used for lobstering, named for the daughter of its Captain, Frank. She was 73 gross tons, 36 net, drew 9.2 feet of water under her keel. A gift from Mr. and Mrs. David Hunter.

Friendship Sloop. Built in Friendship, Maine. This is a lobstering boat. Note the excellent rigging. Given in loving memory of Kathleen Meyer.

The Sea Witch. A clipper ship, used in the China trade. Built on the Kennebunk River.

Gaft Headed Sloop. Sailing model of an early America Cup Boat. These working models were often raced in Cape Porpoise in the summer. You would follow your model in your canoe and propel it with your current.

A new tradition begun in 2011 by Father Harding, The American Roots Jam brings together people who want to play, or just listen. A lovely time is had by all.
